Local Student Qualifies for Provincial Round of National Arts Festival

Payakumbuh: The 2025 National Arts and Literature Competition Festival (FLS3N) is a prestigious event for middle school students (SMP/MTs/equivalent) to showcase their talents in the arts and literature. This competition serves as a platform for the younger generation to express themselves, be creative, and hone their artistic skills.

FLS3N is an annual event organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture to develop students’ talents and interests in the arts and literature.

Among the many schools participating in the event is Jovian Dwi Octo, from Payobasung, Payakumbuh City. A student at Raudatul Jannah Islamic Middle School and the son of Ms. Elvi, he competed in the Solo Song category.

Furthermore, the principal stated via WhatsApp on [8/10, 9:14 PM] +62 813XXXXXX11: The city-level competition was on June 19, 2025, and the provincial level was on July 8, 2025. “Jojo (Jovian Dwi Octo’s nickname) was still in 8th grade during the city selection but is now in 9th grade.
